Fall is one of the great decorating seasons. Gourds and ghouls abound and are certainly fun, but what effect does seasonal décor have on listing photos?
Fall Décor
As is often the case when getting a home ready for photography and showings, less is more when it comes to fall décor. A few tasteful items can be used to provide a welcoming, homey feel; too many, however will distract from the space itself, and may be off-putting to some buyers.
Outside, it’s best to avoid large Halloween or harvest displays. While fun, these can obscure the house in exterior photos and may distract from the home, overall.
